Abstract
This dissertation research project aims at fostering understanding of and guidelines for designing and conducting scenario exercises to effectively influence policy for sustainable land development at the landscape scale. It involves the identification of key attributes of influential land scenarios, a case study analysis of scenario-based assessments, and experimental testing and evaluation of transdisciplinary approaches to scenario development.
