Draft GLP Sessions for IHDP Open Conference
GLP is organising 4 sessions at the IHDP Open Meeting New Delhi, India, October 15, 2008 http://www.openmeeting2008.org/.
The draft description of this sessions can be found here:
- Land-use continuity and change: adaptation in coupled human-environment systems
- Integrative models of human and environmental systems in land change science
- Global land use research and datasets. From historical land-use to human appropriation of biomass.
- How do culture, beliefs, attitudes and traditions in urban societies interact with environmental change? (This is lead by IHDP’s Urbanisation Project UGEC http://www.ugec.org/tiki-index.php?page=IHDPOM08 , in cooperation with GLP)
If you have already submitted an abstract for the
conference that fits in one of the proposed sessions, please do let us know
– it is possible that we could still incorporate the abstract in one of the
sessions. If you have already submitted abstracts unrelated to the listed
proposed sessions but within the GLP scientific agenda, please let us know
for a coordination of GLP related abstracts.
