The International Project Office is located at the Department of Geography, University of
Copenhagen (www.geogr.ku.dk),
Denmark.
The SSC chair, professor Anette Reenberg, leads the office
Dr. Tobias Langanke
is the Executive officer for the International Project Office.
Tobias is a Geographer by training and holds degrees from Mainz
University (Germany) and Salzburg University (Austria). He previously
worked with the Centre for Geoinformatics in Salzburg and the Centre for
Environmental Management, University of Nottingham (UK). His research
Interest include desertification monitoring in southern Africa, EO-data
based monitoring for European Nature Conservation (Natura-2000) and
change assessments for landscape character.
Lars Jørgensen is
the administrative officer at the International Project Office.
Lars holds a Master's Degree in Geography and International Development
Studies from Roskilde University (Denmark). His research interests
include natural resource management, and diversification of rural
livelihoods in Southeast Asia. Lars has conducted field research among
the Karen hill-tribe in northern Thailand.
